Creative Workshop for Kids
‘One Picture, a Thousand… Silences’

‘A picture is worth a thousand words’: one of the most familiar sayings about art becomes the starting point for a creative workshop.

To reach those ‘thousand words’, however, our young creators are first invited to listen… to the silence. Through mime, they will observe, interpret and recreate selected works of art from their own perspective, giving shape to a gallery entirely their own!

When the ‘thousand silences’ give way once again to the ‘thousand words’, the images will be transformed into stories. Via collaborative storytelling, the children will gather ideas, characters and moments to make an original story inspired by their own living pictures.

*This journey into the world of imagination will continue beyond the end of the workshop: the children’s new story will be sent to all participants as a keepsake of their shared creative experience!
