The Story of a Culture

An open discussion with Aspasia Papadima, Associate Professor and Vice Chair of the Department of Multimedia and Graphic Arts at the Cyprus University of Technology and author of the book ‘Coffee and the Coffee Shops: Coffee Culture and the Semiotics of ‘Kafenes’ in Cyprus’, joined by Iliana Koulafeti and Christos Michalaros from People of Cyprus.

The event explores the cultural significance of the Cypriot ‘kafenes’ and its place in contemporary society.
