‘Summer Melodies’
With Prometheas String Quartet and Christina Charalambidou.
We are thrilled to invite you to our upcoming family concert for young children (Infants to 2 years old) which will take place at t he Impressionist Room at the Paris Collection of the A. G. Leventis Gallery.
The Prometheas String Quartet, along with Christina Charalambidou (music educator) will be taking us on a journey on a journey from Antonio Vivaldi’s ‘Summer’ to Astor Piazzolla’s ‘Summer’, with intermediate stops at beloved compositions from all around t he world, inspired by beautiful spring soundscapes. Children and the adults accompanying them will enjoy the quartet’s outstanding performance, while also taking part in music -movement activities specially designed for infants and toddlers. Through motion, play, and active listening, children will have the opportunity to develop their musicality, explore fundamental elements of music, and experience the joy of creative expression alongside their caregivers.
*The activities will be carried out using both Greek and English simultaneously.
